Big Gay Frat PORN

Folks often have the misconception that the Big Gay Frat House is some sort of porn house. Like FratPad and so many other ventures where someone sets up a series of webcams in a private house, moves in a bunch of guys, and watches the antics ensue.

No, we're just a bunch of longtime friends who bought a house together and have both private space and public space, just like a frat house. And big parties, also like a frat house.

But ... there's always a but.

Last April, we actually rented out house out to COLT Video so that their Buckshot subline could film a fraternity-themed porn movie called "Brotherhood." The film follows the advertures of one of the frat brothers (played by Danny Roddick), who is being blackmailed for doing gay porn and decides to document his seduction of his fellow frat brothers in order to counter the blackmail.

The film stars Buckshot Man Danny Roddick, Jan Fischer, Trey Casteel, Dean Phoenix, Justin Burkshire, Kurt Wild, Sebastian Rivers, Kevin Armstrong, Jorden Michaels, Dallas Reeves, Tory Mason, and Kevin Goebel. Yes, that's right ... one of the BGFH boys actually has an on-screen (but fully dressed!) cameo.

John Rutherford, the president of COLT, had really sweet things to say about us on his blog:

BROTHERHOOD was filmed last April in a grueling, action-packed, seven-day shoot at a location in the heart of San Francisco's Castro district. The home of three gay activists known in the gay community for their extensive charitable endeavors and fund-raisers, the building proved to be a perfect stand-in for a fraternity house.

"This location turned out to be ideal for the requirements of the script," noted Douglas. "The building itself has three stories of strikingly decorated, handsomely appointed rooms. Basically, all we had to do was come in and re-arrange the furniture here and there - to make room for the cameras and crew - and we were ready to film. Best of all, there were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms in which much of the action takes place. Our hosts could not have been more accommodating - they even allowed us to film a touch football game that turns into an orgy for the finale of the film in the spacious living room of the place."

Although we were paid (with which we bought a new refrigerator!), the main reason we agreed to do it was for the unusual experience. Who else gets to see their home on film? Especially with cute, naked boys cavorting about? And gets to watch some of the filming???

Of course, the set of any film, even a porn film, isn't all fun and glamour. It's hard, grueling work! But for us at the Big Gay Frat House, it was an interesting and potentially once-in-a-lifetime experience!
