Our friend BeBe Sweetbriar is one workaholic drag queen, hosting or making appearances at events nearly seven days a week. Sadly, all that hard work has taken its toll and poor BeBe is currently in the hospital recovering from pneumonia brought on by exhaustion.
BeBe's been a good friend to the Big Gay Frat House. She performed at our fourth Girl Drink Drunk and has attended many of our other fundraisers and events. So now we want to do everything we can to help get the word out to support her in her hour of need.
On Friday, September 10 (tonight!), the LookOut's weekly Friday party, RIPPED, will be held in honor of BeBe to help raise funds to help cover her expenses. Cards and letters can be dropped off at the door and will be delivered to BeBe over the weekend. (As the event post says, "She needs something to read and do while she's sitting there, wishing her IV was rum and coke.") Donations and all money from Jell-O shots will go to BeBe, and there will also be a 50/50 raffle to help raise money for her.
