All about events and happenings at the Big Gay Frat House in San Francisco's oh-so-gay Castro District, as well as our various adventures out and about in San Francisco.
The images we use are all original and are not lifted from the Internet, except when provided by promoters about their events. Our photos are uploaded to Flickr and linked back to here. Many of these images are restricted on Flickr due to showing some nudity or other adult contest. To see full-size thumbnails or any restricted images in slideshows, you must create an account on Flickr, log in, and turn off SafeSearch in your account settings. This allows Flickr to prevent minors and those not interested in the content from accidentally seeing it.
All right, since we're procrastinating with YouTube, I guess it's time to post an homage to Dangerous Muse. (Faithful readers may recall from a previous post that Kevin has a little crush on Mike Furey.)
Dangerous Muse is an up-and-coming band in New York who reached #2 on Logo's NewNowNext. Kevin first heard about them when they approached him (and half a million other Scissor Sisters fans) to be a friend on MySpace. We tried to get them to come out to SF for a charity fundraiser, but they had scheduling conflicts. Maybe someday...
In the meantime, here's their biggest hit, "The Rejection," which has been Kevin's MySpace profile song for months and months...
Oh, and here's a fan's recording of a live performance of it in L.A.:
Ok, waaaay behind in blog updates. We still have to announce our next Girl Drink Drunk fundraiser on April 21st, which is going to be amazing! And we still have two more installments of Kevin's recent RSVP cruise.
But in the meantime, in the spirit of the Easter holidays and the Vernal Equinox, here's a delightful little video that our friends Daryl and Alice made...
There's a million streaking videos on sites like YouTube and Veoh (just check out Dude Tube for some of the best), but for some reason this one is one of our favorites.
Partly because he's totally nude and not carrying clothes. Partly because it's daylight, so it's clearer. Partly because of the music they added to the background. Fun!
This is from from international television show. I think they're speaking Spanish, but I'm terrible with accents and foreign languages, so I could be way off.
Anyway, it appears to be from a TV game show or contest. This guy apparently was persuaded to remove more and more of his clothes until he was left ... well, you'll see.
At first I thought that the female contestant on the right at the end was none too thrilled (perhaps by stripping he ensured that he would win the big prize she thought she'd win?). But maybe she was a cohost or something? Or just caught on frame at a weird moment?
